Who Is Mika Godts?

Mika Godts at Ajax represents one of the most promising young talents in Europe.

Therefore, it's no surprise that the Belgian winger has been heavily linked to European champions PSG.

He typically opts for choices that favour the team, meaning that he is a team player who prefers key passes to better-positioned teammates over solo shooting options.

At the same time, he tends to try shooting from distance with remarkable accuracy and power whenever the situation requires doing so and whenever the opportunity arises.

Although we will focus further on his shooting techniques later in this scout report, it is important to note that curved shots from the left wing represent his preferred and most mastered finishing techniques.

He has shown at Ajax that he executes such shots with extreme accuracy that prevents goalkeepers from getting to them on time.

Such finishing techniques can be very useful, especially if combined with intelligent and quick penetrations/dribbling from the wing.

These traits resemble those of Kvaratskhelia and Barcola, and that’s what would make Godts such a valuable attacking reinforcement for the PSG squad, especially if one of Barcola or Kvaratskhelia leaves the team during the current transfer window.
