FPL Gameweek 6 Guide 2026/27: A Club-By-Club Review For Matchday 6
Our FPL Gameweek 6 guide assesses all 20 Premier League clubs, ranking fixtures and identifying the top three picks from each. We also highlight wildcard targets, buy-low options, players to avoid and the best captaincy choices ahead of the deadline.
Five gameweeks of Fantasy Premier League have passed, and we are back after a three-week international break.
It is time to take stock.
With many managers holding two or more free transfers and plenty pressing the wildcard button, here is my verdict on all 20 clubs before Saturday's GW6 deadline, with my top three picks from each.
Note: Fixture difficulty is averaged over GW6-11 (1 = easiest, 10 = hardest), with each club ranked out of 20.
Arsenal: Best Defence And Top FPL Picks
The league's best defence.
Arsenal have the lowest xGC (expected goals conceded) at 4.03 and three clean sheets, and have done it without William Saliba.
The attack is functional rather than explosive, with 8 goals from 8.39 xG, but Bukayo Saka is carrying it in terms of the underlying data.
Looking ahead, Arsenal also have the best projected defence over the next three gameweeks.

GW6-11: Leeds United (H), Nottingham Forest (A), Everton (H), Liverpool (A), Hull City (H), Newcastle United (A).
Difficulty 4.8, ranked 4th.
Top 3 Arsenal FPL Picks For Gameweek 6
1) Bukayo Saka £9.6m (MID):
He has 32 points and the highest xGI of any midfielder (4.18), yet only 14.5% owned.
He also tops the league on xGI per 90 once opponent difficulty is factored in (0.95).
A home game against Leeds United is the ideal entry point.
2) Gabriel Magalhães £8.0m (DEF):
The premium defender with goal threat from set pieces and DEFCON points.
He is projected for 41 points from GW6-13, more than any other defender.
3) Riccardo Calafiori £5.9m (DEF):
He has 29 Points with two goal involvements and 1.28 xGI.
A cheaper route into the Arsenal backline than David Raya (£6.1m, 42.5% owned), who is the safe alternative.
One to watch: Jurriën Timber (£6.5m) is owned by 0.5% but is projected among the top defenders over the next eight gameweeks.
Aston Villa: Attacking Concerns And Players To Monitor
This team is somewhat concerning.
Aston Villa have the league's lowest xG (4.10) and fewest big chances (6), and an xGC of 8.60 at the other end.
But their GW5 performance against Tottenham Hotspur showed signs of encouragement.
GW6-11: Brentford (H), Newcastle United (A), Manchester City (H), Fulham (H), Manchester United (A), Sunderland (H).
Difficulty 5.3, ranked 14th.
Fulham and Sunderland at home are the bright spots.
Top 3 Aston Villa FPL Picks For Gameweek 6:
1) Emiliano Buendía £5.9m (MID):
Aston Villa's top scorer on 21 points and their most reliable creative outlet, with 1.16 xGI.
2) Nicolas Jackson £6.5m (FWD):
He has 1.27 xGI (expected goal involvement) in just 286 minutes, the best per-minute rate in the squad.
One to monitor rather than buy for now.
3) Johan Manzambi £5.9m (MID):
He has wo-goal involvements and 14 points from just 98 minutes, with 0.68 xGI.
He is expected to start against Brentford, and if he keeps his place, he is the most exciting attacking option in a struggling side.
Verdict: Hold if you own, avoid if you don't.
Bournemouth: Underlying Numbers And Gameweek 7 Options
This team is better than the table suggests.
Bournemouth have created 8.65 xG and 14 big chances but scored only 6 goals.
They are still waiting on a clean sheet despite a respectable 6.95 xGC.
Expect the results to improve.
GW6-11: Chelsea (A), Sunderland (H), Manchester United (A), Leeds (H), Ipswich (A), Nottingham Forest (H).
Difficulty 5.2, ranked 11th.
A tough GW6, then a kinder run from GW7.
Top 3 Bournemouth FPL Picks For Gameweek 6:
1) António Silva £5.0m (DEF):
He only has 13 points so far, but his expected points (23.25) say he deserves far more.
Eight DEFCON points give him a floor, and clean sheets should arrive.
2) Marcus Tavernier £6.1m (MID):
He has 31Points to date, 2.61 xGI and eight bonus points.
He is on set pieces and has the best routes to points.
3) Evanilson £6.0m (FWD):
He has three goal involvements as the focal point.
A budget forward who suits a GW7 home fixture against Sunderland.
Team news: Alex Scott picked up a thigh injury during international duty and will be sidelined for four to five weeks.
Justin Kluivert is also ruled out.
Both are big knocks for the team.
Brentford: Balanced Form And FPL Value
Brentford are quietly showing that they are one of the most balanced sides in the league.
Ten goals from 9.75 xG, only four conceded from 6.32 xGC and two clean sheets.
They are getting what they deserve, and the fixtures are looking decent.
GW6-11: Aston Villa (A), Liverpool (H), Hull City (A), Nottingham Forest (H), Brighton & Hove Albion (A), Everton (H).
Difficulty 5.0, ranked 7th.
Top 3 Brentford FPL Picks For Gameweek 6:
1) Kevin Schade £6.2m (MID):
He has 39 points and five goal involvements.
He is outperforming his 1.84 xGI, so expect some cooling, but minutes look nailed.
2) Igor Thiago £7.8m (FWD):
He has 3.13 xG and five big chances, but only one goal and 10 points.
The underlying numbers rank him among the league's top forwards, and he is just 9.2% owned.
3) Michael Kayode £4.6m (DEF):
His expected points are 23.00 from only 294 minutes, driven by attacking output.
He is a strong fifth defender option if he holds his place.
One to watch: Vitaly Janelt (£5.0m) has six DEFCON points and 28 points as a cheap, steady midfield option.
Brighton: Top FPL Scorers And Fixture Risks
The FPL team of the season so far.
Brighton leads the league in xG (12.03) and big chances (22), have scored 16 goals and have kept three clean sheets.

GW6-11: Sunderland (A), Crystal Palace (H), Liverpool (A), Manchester City (A), Brentford (H), Hull City (A).
Difficulty 5.5, ranked 15th.
Two good games, then back-to-back trips to Anfield and the Etihad.
Top 3 Brighton FPL Picks For Gameweek 6:
1) Pascal Groß £5.9m (MID):
He is the game's top scorer on 47 points with seven goal involvements.
At 30.3% owned, he is no longer a differential, but he is the best value asset in the game.
2) Maxim De Cuyper £5.0m (DEF):
He has 38 FPL Points so far and 2.22 xGI.
A defender playing left-wing.
3) Charalampos Kostoulas £5.6m (FWD):
He has five goal involvements and 28 points as a budget forward.
Some caution: Pascal Groß has seven involvements from 2.63 xGI, so regression is likely.
Kaoru Mitoma is due back from injury, which could eat into minutes on the left flank.
Plan to enjoy your Brighton & Hove Albion assets in GW6 and 7, then reassess.
Chelsea: Attacking Picks For A Favourable Fixture Run
All attack, no clean sheets.
Chelsea have scored 10 but conceded 12, the most in the league, from 8.82 xGC.
Their fixtures are now the second-best in the league, with four home games, so this is still the attack to target.
And they have no European involvement.
GW6-11: Bournemouth (H), Everton (A), Tottenham Hotspur (H), Manchester United (H), Sunderland (A), Leeds United (H).
Difficulty 4.7, ranked 2nd.
Top 3 Chelsea FPL Picks For Gameweek 6:
1) João Pedro £7.7m (FWD):
He has 33 Points and six goal involvements.
At 64.4% ownership, he is close to essential.
He is proving to be the talisman of the side going forward.
There are some doubts about whether he will be involved in GW6, but even so, this is a player that FPL managers should consider.
2) Cole Palmer £9.7m (MID):
He has 28 points and has taken 17 shots in the Premier League so far.
Penalties and set pieces give him the highest ceiling.
3) Morgan Rogers £7.8m (MID):
Chelsea's most productive attacker on the underlying numbers.
He has 2.95 xGI, 11 key passes and 29 points.
Defence: Chelsea have already conceded 12 goals, but with Bournemouth (H), Everton (A), Tottenham Hotspur (H) next, they are projected as one of the kindest defensive runs in the league.
Maxence Lacroix (£5.9m, six DEFCON points) is the punt if you want a defender.
Otherwise, get your exposure from midfield and attack.

Coventry City: Budget Defenders And The Best Fixture Run
Coventry City have the best fixtures in the league from GW6-11, but one goal in five games tells you the attack is not clicking yet.
Their xG of 5.06 is the second-lowest.
The case for Coventry City is cheap defensive assets, not attackers.
GW6-11: Newcastle United (H), Tottenham Hotspur (A), Fulham (H), Sunderland (H), Everton (A), Crystal Palace (H).
Difficulty 4.0, ranked 1st.
Top 3 Coventry FPL Picks For Gameweek 6:
1) Bobby Thomas £4.0m (DEF):
He has 24 points with six DEFCON points and expected points of 22.15.
One of the best budget defenders in the game.
2) Jay DaSilva £4.0m (DEF):
He has 20 points with an assist and 1.03 xGI from wing-back.
A second £4.0m enabler for a wildcard draft.
3) Jack Rudoni £4.9m (MID):
He has 2.03 xGI (expected goal involvement) but zero returns so far.
He is a low-cost punt if you believe the goals will come with this run of fixtures.
Team news: Taiwo Awoniyi is suspended until 19 October, which takes away their main striker option for GW6 and GW7.
Crystal Palace: Attacking Returns And Defensive Risks
They are leaky at the back and wasteful up front.
Crystal Palace have the worst xGC in the league (9.46) and have conceded 11.
They have created 16 big chances, the fifth-most, but scored only 6 without Jean-Philippe Mateta.
GW6-11: Nottingham Forest (H), Brighton & Hove Albion (A), Newcastle United (H), Tottenham Hotspur (A), Liverpool (H), Coventry City (A).
Difficulty 5.2, ranked 12th.
Top 3 Crystal Palace FPL Picks For Gamweek 6:
1) Tyrick Mitchell £4.5m (DEF):
He is Crystal Palace's top scorer on 24 points, with two goal involvements from left wing-back.
The attacking route makes up for the lack of clean sheets.
2) Ismaïla Sarr £6.2m (MID):
He has only eight minutes so far this season (a big reason as to why Crystal Palace are struggling the way they are), so this is a pick on reputation and role rather than form.
If he returns to the starting XI, he is Crystal Palace's most dangerous runner and the natural outlet.
3) Jean-Philippe Mateta £6.3m (FWD):
He is expected back from his hamstring injury for GW6.
If he starts, he is a proven finisher.
One to watch: Anan Khalaili (1.28 xGI, 19 points) has popped up with attacking returns and has good DEFCON potential.

Everton: Clean Sheets, DEFCON Points And Forward Value
Everton have been solid and slightly underrated.
Three clean sheets and only three goals conceded, with a defence that racks up DEFCON points.
Going forward, they have created more than their six goals suggest.
GW6-11: Hull City (A), Chelsea (H), Arsenal (A), Newcastle United (A), Coventry City (H), Brentford (A).
Difficulty 5.5, ranked 16th.
Hull City away is a great start, but Arsenal and Newcastle United away follow.
Top 3 Everton FPL Picks For Gameweek 6:
1) Thierno Barry £5.7m (FWD):
He has been the standout forward at his price.
He has 16 shots inside the box, eight big chances and 3.66 xGI, but only two goals.
His expected points (29.12) are behind only Bukayo Saka, Erling Haaland, Bruno Fernandes and Bryan Mbeumo.
2) James Tarkowski £6.2m (DEF):
He has 43 points, which is the best of any defender.
Two goal involvements plus DEFCON points make him a strong all-round asset.
3) Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall £6.6m (MID):
He has taken 18 shots and 11 key passes from midfield, and only 5.8% owned.
He is projected for 4.8 points against Hull City, one of the highest GW6 projections for any midfielder.
Fulham: Buy-Low Options As Fixtures Improve
The feeling: Underperforming in both boxes, but the fixtures have turned.
Five goals from 7.15 xG for Fulham, and a defence conceding 9.11 xGC.
GW7 at home to Hull City is the easiest fixture rating on the board (1 out of 10).
GW6-11: Ipswich Town (A), Hull City (H), Coventry City (A), Aston Villa (A), Newcastle United (H), Manchester City (A).
Difficulty 4.7, ranked 3rd.
Top 3 Fulham FPL Picks For Gameweek 6:
1) Gonzalo García £6.0m (FWD):
He has 2.92 xGI and 13 shots in the box, but only one goal and 14 points.
His xGI per 90 rises from 0.62 to 0.71 once you adjust for the opponents he has faced.
A textbook buy-low forward for this run.
2) Josh King £5.6m (MID):
He is Fulham's top scorer on 24 points, with seven shots on target and 2.00 xGI.
3) Timothy Castagne £4.5m (DEF):
He has 20 points and two goal involvements.
Ipswich Town, Hull City and Coventry City give Fulham one of the best projected defensive runs, so clean sheets are finally in play on top of his attacking returns.
Also consider: Oscar Bobb (£5.5m, 1.68 xGI) and Alex Iwobi (£5.4m, 1.61 xGI) are both blanking despite decent numbers.
Hull City: Budget Picks And Defensive Regression Risk
The surprise package of the Premier League, but living on borrowed time.
Hull City have three clean sheets and only four goals conceded, yet their 7.40 xGC says they have ridden their luck.
A deep 5-4-1 makes them hard to break down, and their 258 FPL points are mid-table.
GW6-11: Everton (H), Fulham (A), Brentford (H), Ipswich Town (H), Arsenal (A), Brighton & Hove Albion (H).
Difficulty 5.0, ranked 8th.
Four home games in six.
Top 3 Hull FPL Picks For Gameweek 6:
1) Mohamed Belloumi £5.1m (MID):
Has 31 points and four goal involvements, the club's main attacking threat.
2) Konstantinos Tzolakis £4.7m (GK):
He has 34 points, which is among the best goalkeeper returns in the game.
His expected points are only 15.21, though, so a dip is likely.
3) John Egan £4.1m (DEF):
He has 26 points with six DEFCON points at a bargain price.
A good bench enabler that can start in home games.
Caution: The defensive numbers point to regression.
Treat Hull City assets as budget fillers, not core picks.
Ipswich Town: Budget Attackers And Defensive Concerns
They are fun to watch, but painful to own defensively.
Ipswich Town have conceded 11 goals, with no clean sheets from 8.98 xGC.
The attack is decent for a promoted side, with seven goals from 6.98 xG.
GW6-11: Fulham (H), Manchester City (A), Nottingham Forest (H), Hull City (A), Bournemouth (H), Tottenham Hotspur (A).
Difficulty 4.8, ranked 5th.
Only Manchester City away stands out as a write-off.
Top 3 Ipswich FPL Picks For Gameweek 6:
1) Leif Davis £4.0m (DEF):
He is the best attacking budget defender in the game.
Four goal involvements and 2.05 xGI give him 25 points despite zero clean sheets.
2) Julio Enciso £5.5m (MID):
He has taken 17 shots and 2.16 xGI, with two assists but no goals yet.
The underlying numbers say returns are coming.
3) Emersonn £5.5m (FWD):
He has 26 points and three goal involvements in 317 minutes.
A cheap third forward if his minutes keep climbing.
Team news: Abdul Fatawu is suspended until 17 October.
Leeds United: Players To Hold Through Difficult Fixtures
They've had a tidy start, but it's about to be tested.
Leeds have conceded only three, and their 297 FPL points are the second-highest of any club.
Unfortunately, they have the worst GW6-11 run in the league.
GW6-11: Arsenal (A), Manchester United (H), Sunderland (A), Bournemouth (A), Tottenham Hotspur (H), Chelsea (A).
Difficulty 6.5, ranked 20th.
Top 3 Leeds FPL Picks For Gameweek 6:
1) Jayden Bogle £4.6m (DEF):
He has 42 points, second only to Tarkowski among defenders, and expected points of 27.76.
If you own him, keep him.
2) Dominic Calvert-Lewin £6.0m (FWD):
He has 3.09 xGI and three goal involvements.
He is getting the chances, but the fixtures make it hard to buy him now.
3) Anton Stach £6.0m (MID):
He has 27 points with six DEFCON points, giving him a floor even when Leeds United don't score.
Verdict: Hold, don't buy.
Leeds United assets are the natural sales if you need funds for Chelsea or Arsenal players.
Liverpool: Injury Doubts And A Difficult Fixture Run
Liverpool have three clean sheets and seven goals from 7.29 xG, which is modest for a title contender.
Injuries are piling up, with Hugo Ekitiké, Conor Bradley and Federico Chiesa all out.
GW6-11: Manchester City (H), Brentford (A), Brighton & Hove Albion (H), Arsenal (H), Crystal Palace (A), Manchester United (H).
Difficulty 6.3, ranked 19th.
Top 3 Liverpool FPL Picks For Gamweek 6:
1) Alexander Isak £9.1m (FWD):
He has 33 points, four goals and eight bonus points from 3.54 xG.
Clinical, but a thigh knock makes him 75% for Manchester City.
2) Cody Gakpo £7.2m (MID):
He has 32 points and four goal involvements in 370 minutes.
He also has a 75% doubt with an ankle issue.
3) Virgil Van Dijk £6.5m (DEF):
He has 25 points with six DEFCON points.
He offers set-piece threat and is the safest route into this defence.
Verdict: A tough run and fitness doubts. Liverpool assets are fine to hold, but there are better places to spend wildcard money right now.
Dominik Szoboszlai (32.3% owned) has only 20 points despite 2.24 xGI and is a possible sell.
Manchester City: Premium FPL Picks And Improving Fixtures
Back to their ruthless best.
Manchester City have scored 13, second only to Brighton, and their 291 FPL points are third-best.
Liverpool away is a tough opener, but GW7–11 is very kind.
GW6-11: Liverpool (A), Ipswich Town (H), Aston Villa (A), Brighton & Hove Albion (H), Nottingham Forest (A), Fulham (H).
Difficulty 5.0, ranked 9th.
Top 3 Man City FPL Picks For Gameweek 6:
1) Erling Haaland £15.6m (FWD):
He has 39 points, five goals, 20 shots and nine bonus points.
At 73.9% ownership, not owning him is the riskiest move in the game.
He is projected for 53.8 points from GW6–13, the most of any player.
2) Joško Gvardiol £5.7m (DEF):
He has 37 points and four goal involvements.
Outstanding value for a Manchester City defender, and 26.9% owned.
3) Rayan Cherki £7.8m (MID):
He has 34 points and 2.26 xGI in only 302 minutes.
With Phil Foden suspended until 17 October, his minutes look secure for GW6.
Also consider: Antoine Semenyo (£8.4m) has 33 points but is a 75% doubt with an ankle injury.
Manchester United: Attacking Picks And Captaincy Options
The most frustrating side in the league.
Manchester United have taken 113 shots, the most by a distance, and have 9.92 xG.
Yet they have scored just eight and are still without a clean sheet.

GW6-11: Tottenham Hotspur (H), Leeds United (A), Bournemouth (H), Chelsea (A), Aston Villa (H), Liverpool (A).
Difficulty 5.8, ranked 17th.
The first three are inviting, especially Tottenham Hotspur at home.
Top 3 Man United FPL Picks For Gameweek 6:
1) Bruno Fernandes £11.9m (MID):
He has 31 points, 3.88 xGI and 13 key passes.
He has one of the highest GW6 projections of any player (5.9 points against Tottenham Hotspur).
A strong captaincy alternative to Haaland.
2) Bryan Mbeumo £7.9m (MID):
He has 3.86 xGI, almost level with Fernandes, but only 25 points.
One caveat: adjusted for opposition, his xGI per 90 drops from 0.77 to 0.63, and Fernandes' from 0.78 to 0.61, so some of that volume came against weaker sides.
3) Matheus Cunha £7.9m (MID):
He has 26 points and three goal involvements.
He is the third option if you want two Manchester United attackers, but he is behind the other two in terms of numbers.
Team news: Kobbie Mainoo, Marcus Rashford and Benjamin Šeško are all listed at 75%.
Amad Diallo and Matthijs de Ligt are out, but edging closer to a return.
Newcastle United: Favourable Fixtures And Injury Concerns
The results are flattering their performances.
Newcastle have scored nine from only 6.15 xG and have conceded 9.14 xGC, the second-worst.
GW6-11: Coventry City (A), Aston Villa (H), Crystal Palace (A), Everton (H), Fulham (A), Arsenal (H).
Difficulty 5.0, ranked 10th.
The first five are all very playable.
Top 3 Newcastle FPL Picks For Gameweek 6:
1) Lewis Hall £5.3m (DEF):
He has 31 points, two goal involvements and six DEFCON points.
Newcastle United's most reliable asset.
2) Yoane Wissa £6.2m (FWD):
He has 2.40 xGI but only 15 points.
Coventry City and Aston Villa in the next two make him a sensible option.
3) Harvey Barnes £6.1m (MID):
He has 28 points and four goal involvements, outperforming his 1.11 xGI.
Good form, but expect it to cool.
Note: Newcastle United play Coventry City on Monday night, so you will see most of the GW6 action before they kick off.
Nottingham Forest: Defensive Value In A Tough Fixture Run
A strong defence let down by its finishing.
Nottingham Forest's 4.68 xGC is second only to Arsenal, but they have scored just four goals from 7.35 xG.
The fixtures are the third-hardest in the league.
GW6-11: Crystal Palace (A), Arsenal (H), Ipswich Town (A), Brentford (A), Manchester City (H), Bournemouth (A).
Difficulty 6.2, ranked 18th.
Top 3 Nottingham Forest FPL Picks For Gameweek 6:
1) Morgan Gibbs-White £8.0m (MID):
He has 28 points and 2.97 xGI.
He is the hub of everything Nottingham Forest creates, but his price is hard to justify on this run.
2) Murillo £5.5m (DEF):
He has eight DEFCON points and expected points of 25.26, among the best of any defender.
Only 23 actual points, so he has been unlucky.
3) Neco Williams £5.0m (DEF):
He has 1.03 xGI from full-back, with expected points of 23.04.
A cheaper way into a good defence.
Verdict: Their defensive assets hold value, but only Crystal Palace away (GW6) and Ipswich Town away (GW8) look inviting before the November break.
Sunderland: Attacking Value And Differential Picks
The biggest underperformers in attack.
Sunderland have 10.73 xG, the second-highest in the league, and 20 big chances, second only to Brighton.
They have scored just six.
The goals will come, and their assets are cheap.

GW6-11: Brighton & Hove Albion (H), Bournemouth (A), Leeds United (H), Coventry City (A), Chelsea (H), Aston Villa (A).
Difficulty 5.2, ranked 13th.
Top 3 Sunderland FPL Picks For Gameweek 6:
1) Enzo Le Fée £5.7m (MID):
He has 3.39 xGI, the fourth-highest of any midfielder, but only 18 points.
He is projected for 36 points from GW6–13, level with £7.8m Thiago, and he is owned by just 3.3%.
Adjusted for opponent difficulty, his xGI per 90 rises to 0.83, third-best in the league behind only Saka and Haaland.
Our differential of the week.
2) Brian Brobbey £5.7m (FWD):
He has 3.05 xGI and 24 points.
A cheap forward with real goal threat.
3) Granit Xhaka £5.5m (MID):
He has 21 points with four DEFCON points.
A steady floor rather than a high ceiling.
Caution: The defence is leaky (8.66 xGC, 10 conceded), so avoid their defenders.
Tottenham Hotspur: Defensive Picks And Attacking Concerns
Toothless.
Two goals in five games is the second-lowest in the league, from 6.89 xG.
No Tottenham attacker features among the top FPL scorers, and Dejan Kulusevski and Wilson Odobert are both out injured.
GW6-11: Manchester United (A), Coventry City (H), Chelsea (A), Crystal Palace (H), Leeds United (A), Ipswich Town (H).
Difficulty 4.8, ranked 6th.
The home games against Coventry City, Crystal Palace and Ipswich Town are excellent.
Top 3 Spurs FPL Picks For Gameweek 6:
1) Jan Paul Van Hecke £4.9m (DEF):
He is Tottenham Hotspur's top scorer on 24 points, with a goal involvement and DEFCON points.
2) Antonín Kinský £4.5m (GK):
He has 18 points and two clean sheets.
A cheap goalkeeper who can rotate well with a keeper facing tougher home fixtures.
3) Micky Van De Ven £5.0m (DEF):
He has 16 points, with goal threat from set pieces.
If you want an attacker, wait to see whether Sávio (1.11 xGI in 240 minutes) nails down a starting role.
FPL Gameweek 6 Wildcard, Transfers And Captaincy Tips
If you only make one move this week, follow the underlying numbers into the best fixture runs.
Teams To Target For Gameweek 6
Chelsea (2nd-best run, four home games), Fulham (3rd) and Arsenal (4th).
Coventry City's run is the best of all, but buy their defenders, not their attack.
Buy-Low Candidates
Thiago, Barry, Gonzalo, Mbeumo, Wissa and Le Fée are all creating far more than their points suggest.
Adjusting for opposition strengthens the case for Gonzalo and Le Fée, and slightly weakens it for Mbeumo.
Hold, Don't Buy
Leeds United and Liverpool face the two hardest runs.
Nottingham Forest's defenders hold value, but their fixtures are tough.
Regression Watch
Groß, Hull City's defence and Newcastle United's attack are all outperforming their underlying numbers.
Captaincy Options For Gameweek 6
Haaland goes to Anfield, so Fernandes at home to Tottenham Hotspur is a credible alternative.
Fernandes is projected for 6.4 points against 5.5 for Haaland, with Saka (6.1, home to Leeds United) close behind.

Attacking Involvement Adjusted For Opponent Difficulty

The next international break follows GW10 (6 November), with GW11 not until 21 November.
Plan your transfers across that five-gameweek window.
